It’s been awhile since a police blotter item really caught our eye, but this one from Stow Patch really hits all the marks that you want to see in crazy suburban activity. Enjoy.

A woman phoned the Stow Police Department on Wednesday to report a man who had just called and harassed her. She gave police the man’s number, but did not identify herself. When an officer called the number, a man picked up, claimed he was with Al-Qaeda, threatened to kill the woman and said he was going to blow up the police station. Given the gravity of the threats, the department called the FBI who will now assist in the investigation.

  1. The only reason I could figure anybody would do that would be to get a free body cavity search. Then have all your records gone over and your family and neighbors harrased

  2. This makes sense…because when I think top targets for Al-Qaeda attacks, I think Stow Police Department.

The guy was probably on some drugs and after watching all the 9/11 stuff on television all day, he thought it would be humorous. Needless to say, it wasn’t.
