Brooklynites are too cool for school when it comes to their beloved ‘hood. So it’s no surprise that “news” of a new “factory farm-to-table” Guy Fieri restaurant in Williamsburg flips the wigs of those interviewed in the video.

Others, who note the trend of Brooklynites making the trip to Times Square to eat “ironically” at the widely panned Guy’s American Kitchen, are not as alarmed.

“That’s going to be terrible — I can’t wait,” says one passerby.

Of course, there is no Guy Fieri restaurant planned for Williamsburg — at least not yet.

  1. I think you’d get a similar reaction if Lakewoodians were interviewed about a possible Applebee’s opening in our city.

  2. Ever since I read that article you kids wrote about his Prima Donna attitude at The Beachland he’s been on my $hitlist….

    So have at it Brooklynites

  3. He’s been on my shitlist since he first won that contest on the Food Network. He’s an ass. The hair, the upside-down sunglasses on the back of his head, all of his many affectations are just silly. He has no scruples or ethics when it comes to food. Shill.
