Young Ohio State Fan Names His Brain Tumor 'Michigan'

Something like that, anyway.

Grant Reed, a 12-year-old diehard Ohio State fan, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2011, Fox Sports reports. Taking inspiration from his idols, Reed nicknamed the tumor "Michigan," and then kicked its ass.

OSU coach Urban Meyer even stopped by to lend support.

Reed's doctors last week reported that he's looking much better.

"We've beaten Michigan for the short term, but like any rival, there's a chance it can come back," Reed's father, Troy, told the news station.
