With both Buffalo Springfield and Poco, singer-guitarist Richie Furay helped forged a new sound that would come to be known as alt-country. Furay, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum when Buffalo Springfield was inducted in 1997, was in town today to play a benefit concert at the Rock Hall of Fame and Museum. We spoke to him backstage about his career and about his terrific new album, Hand in Hand, which just came out earlier this year.
