Backstage Pass: An Interview with Singer-Songwriter Graham Nash

Music News

A two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum inductee, singer-songwriter Graham Nash rolled into town earlier this week (direct from Norway, where Crosby, Stills and Nash had just wrapped a tour) to help kick off the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's newest exhibit, Graham Nash: Touching the Flame. The exhibit includes items from Nash’s personal collection, including artifacts from the Beatles, the Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley, the Beach Boys, Buddy Holly and Duane Allman in addition to items from his time with the Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash. We caught up with him while the finishing touches were being put on the exhibit.

"It’s more than a look at Graham Nash’s musical career," says Rock and Roll Hall of Fame president and CEO Greg Harris in a press release. "It’s a look at the inspiration he drew from the world around him – inspirations that made him a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee."

There’s even an interactive game that allows you to sing with Nash.

To celebrate the exhibit opening, Nash will be at the Museum for a special sold-out performance and book signing on Friday. Nash will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and then the exhibit will be open to the public on Saturday.
