Further proving that Cleveland is Michael Stanley's town, the local music legend officially has his own street sign.

Standing at the corner or Huron and Euclid this morning, the rocker watched as the Michael Stanley Way street sign was attached to a pole. The sign includes a small photo of the musician, as well as the road's actual name, Huron.

"It's pretty surreal, to tell you the truth," Stanley said during this morning's press gathering.

Stanley was recently awarded a special Lifetime Achievement Award by the Cleveland Arts Prize, which acknowledged not only his 50 years in the music business but also his charity work.

No matter how many accolades Stanley receives, he'll always be remembered around these parts for that time in 1982 when his band played a four-night stint at Blossom Music Center to record-breaking attendance.
