Way back in 2004, singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux released Careless Love, an album of covers of tunes by artists such as Bob Dylan, James P. Johnson and Leonard Cohen.

The disc would go on sell half a million copies and take Peyroux out of the jazz world and into the mainstream.

Peyroux will perform songs from that album on her current Careless Love Forever World Tour that comes to the Kent Stage on Sept. 24.

Tickets to Madeleine Peyroux’s concert at the Kent Stage go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
