Next Year's Jamboree in the Hills to Take Place in July

A long running country music festival that takes place in Belmont, Ohio, Jamboree Hills will return this coming summer for the 42nd year.

The four-day event kicks off on July 19 with the Charlie Daniels Band, Travis Tritt, the Marshall Tucker Band and the Outlaws. Toby Keith headlines on July 20, Brantley Gilbert headlines on July 21 and Neal McCoy closes the festival out on July 22.

Organizers say that traditions such as the “Redneck Run” and the "up-close-and-personal fan photo aisle" in front of the main stage will return, and fans can bring decorated coolers for their own beverages. There will be in-and-out privileges so patrons can go back to the campground as well. No liquor or glass will be allowed in the festival area.

“I am looking forward to another fantastic event, full of all the wonderful traditions that we love about Jambo. From the redneck run to the coolers, the lineup and especially the fans- clear your calendars for the best week of the summer,” says general manager Kelly Tucker-Jones in a press release announcing the event.

New camping packages such as “Jambo-Glamping,” and campsites with electric hook-ups will be available for this year's event.

Ticket sales for Jamboree in the Hills begin with a one-day only sale from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30. Tickets will be available via jamboreeinthehills.com, onsite at the Belmont venue or by phone at 1-800-594-TIXX.
