Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will play Blossom on July 20. The Drive-By Truckers open.

If you’re a Petty fan with a jones for new music, to tide yourself over until summer, you should check out the Brought Low. Half the group’s upcoming album, The Third Record, sounds like rocking Petty deep-album cuts. The New York City trio will play Nemeth’s Lounge on March 13, with the Suede Brothers.
